Frequently Asked Questions

Why Don’t Blame Eve?

- Eve has been the most underestimated and unfairly treated character in history

- Adam was as responsible for the so called “sin” yet Eve has carried all of the responsibility as the one that “gave” us the original sin

- I’d like to say with this title to all women, don’t fall into this same cultural, society and historical nonsense. Don’t blame Eve, your parents, what happened in your past or your country’s or history’s past. Take control and responsibility for your own life and actions, use the opportunities or make new ones.

What Is This Book About?

- This is a simple guide to inspire and empower women to improve their quality of life and realize their most inner dreams. A guide to help women of all cultures reach their fullest potential by teaching them new skills and remind them of the unlimited power that lies within each of them

What Do You Think Is The Biggest Problem That Affect Young Women Today?

- Their lack of confidence in themselves because of years of negative conditioning.

- Women are more vulnerable to peer pressure, worry too much about what others think and tend to put themselves last behind everyone else.

- Culture and traditions play a significant role in women’s chances at an education at learning to make independent choices and ultimately becoming strong, successful individuals

Do You Think Non-Minority Women Are Less Affected By Those Issues Than Other Women?

- Not necessarily. It is true that issues relating to women’s rights are much more obvious in developing nations or among people that belong to a particular culture or religion but white women in Europe and the US are affected as well, even if on a more subtle way.

- White women are more affected by issues like body image and rebellion, not to mention that all women in the US are affected by glass ceiling, which (whether we want to admit it or not) still exists.

What Does This Book Title (And The Book In General) Means?

- Don’t Blame Eve means don’t blame anyone, don’t sit around and complain for the rest of your life about what happened and what you don’t have but want to. It means, from this moment on, only you are to blame for not improving your life however YOU and only you want to.

- It’s no one’s fault, no one is to blame but you for the rest of your life, the choices you make and the outcome of those choices.

What Do You Want To Accomplish?

- I want women all over the world to be empowered to be good people, peaceful, happy and successful people. I want them to make responsible decisions that bring fulfillment into their lives.

- I want young women to learn to take care of themselves before caring for others; to be happy and love themselves before trying to make others happy.

- I want women to make their own decisions and be strong enough to keep them despite pressure to do something they don’t want to do.

Why Did You Decide To Write This Book?

- While volunteering some of the girls would tell me things like: “I wish my friend in Atlanta could get some of your advice” or “I like that someone like us [a young woman] gives us advice, we like hearing it from one of our own”.

- This motivated me to write some of my advice into journals and later that lead into this book.

What Inspired You To Write This Book?

- The many girls and young women that I encountered in my volunteering years. There were so many of them that were simply lost and wasting their time and talents simply because they didn’t have the right advice.

- Also, all the women that are so far away from us and that we only know about via the news and other media.

- Women that don’t have nearly as many opportunities as we do here in this country remind me that we cannot sit around and let life pass us by. We owe it to them and to all of those who came before us and fought to give us the rights and opportunities we have today.

What Do You Think Are The Biggest Challenges Affecting Women In Developing Countries Today?

- Lack of rights and education. If you have been told all of your life that you are not as worthy as men are and cannot get an education that will allow you to see otherwise, you will live a life without hope, without light.

- If you give women the knowledge and then allow her to make a choice, then she will be powerful, happy and accomplished. If they decide to remain in that social and cultural place then that will be their choice. But we must give them the opportunity to choose.

- Cultures and traditions are beautiful but if they control half of the population of a country or region then you will end up with.

How Does Your Book Differ From All Other Self-Help Books Out There?

- This book is written in a voice that speaks to those it is addressed to. It makes no apologies and does not expect the reader to believe in what it’s written because the author says so.

- This is a no nonsense guide, a journal written by a young woman for young women. Women want to get ideas and listen to advice from other young women, friends and colleagues. It is harder for us to take advice from an old counselor or therapist that we can’t relate to and that cannot relate to us.

- This is the only all around self-help guide for young women in print today.

- This is the best all around self-improvement book for women today.
